This particular year’s Vacation Bible School theme centered around archeology. Mr. Mark’s Classroom and I concepted a story of an archeological dig, complete with custom resizable illustrations that could mix and match to fit any stage orientation. Textures and linework were created using a combination of vector and raster graphics to allow size changes in production without loss of clarity. Bold highlights and shadows gave the flat printed pieces and strong three-dimensional quality when displayed. This was Mr. Mark’s first stage set coming out of COVID restrictions, and it provided a strong rebound in sales.
